Philadelphia Book Festival

The Festival's grand finale takes place inside and outside on the Parkway. 6abc's Tamala Edwards kicks off the festivities in Shakespeare Park with the beloved Storybook Character Parade. Stick around for music by The Cat's Pajamas and Many Thoughts of Music, and fun with the Teddy Bear Picnic, Eagles Bookmobile, and KYW's Kidcast.

The Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts hosts the 28th annual Philadelphia International Children’s Festival and you can win tickets! From May 3-5, families can enjoy performances perfect for the young (and young at heart) including Space Panorama, John Hadfield's Monkeys in the House, John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean, Circo Comedia and PASTA! A Pop Ups Puppet Musical.

The Kennett Symphony of Chester County offered a free concert Sunday, March 4 at Lincoln University. On Sunday, March 11 at 2PM, they will offer the same free concert at West Chester University.

When a group of parents from St. Margaret School received approval from Sony Pictures for a special screening of “The Mighty Macs” as a fundraiser for the Narberth Community Food Bank during Catholic Schools Week, organizers jumped into action.

Art Extravaganza & Rockin' Kids Concert

It's Abington Art Center's Kid Fest this Thursday, August 4!  Bring the whole family for an evening of imaginative play, inventive art activities, a rockin' concert with Princess Katie & Racer Steve, and a chance to see Kathy O'Connell from WXPN's Kids Corner. Admission is FREE with t-shirt painting, tile painting, face painting and global art workshops ranging from $2-$7 or an artpack for $10.

Every summer, some local theatres offer great summer movie deals for kids on weekday mornings. In addition, many local township Parks & Recreation Departments are sponsoring free outdoor movies in the park this summer.
