The Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts continues its legacy of providing affordable performing arts to Philadelphia’s youngest audiences with its 29th annual Philadelphia International Children’s Festival. From April 30–May 4, families can enjoy performances perfect for the young (and young at heart.)

On April 20-21 the grounds of Graeme Park and the adjacent Penrose-Strawbridge House will be transformed into a World War II-era French village as reenactors stage a battle between American and German troops amongst the stone barns and outbuildings on the properties.

Hop on down to East Passyunk Avenue for a day of ‘egg-citing’ Easter festivities! On Saturday, March 23, 2013, East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) presents its annual Easter Egg Hunt from 11:00 AM to 1:15 PM on the lawn of the South Philadelphia Older Adult Center (1430 East Passyunk).

The 2013 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show offers endless opportunities for visitors of all ages. Toddlers, tweens, and young adults will have the chance to participate in crafts, storytimes, interactive games, an exciting (and educational) scavenger hunt, and enjoy on-stage performances at the Flower Show, which runs March 2-10.

The Great Backyard Bird Count is an annual 4-day event that engages bird watchers of all ages in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of where the birds are.

This amazing maze is constructed from over one-thousand unsold Christmas trees which have been recovered from area tree lots. They have been strategically placed to challenge your sense of direction while you walk through a green wonderland of recycled trees!
