Yo Gabba Gabba Ticket Giveaway!

Yo Gabba Gabba Live will be appearing at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby on Friday, October 7 at 3pm and 6pm.  We have 4 packs of tickets to giveway to two lucky winners!

The majestic, training ship DANMARK, considered Denmark’s nautical ambassador will visit Philadelphia September 23-27, 2011, and dock at Penn’s Landing for public tours. Arriving Friday September 23 at 11:00 a.m., the DANMARK will be escorted up the river to Penn’s Landing, by the Leif Ericsson Viking Ship with full sails and the Philadelphia Fire Department Boat, The Independence will also join the parade of Sail and spray water during their arrival.

The family-friendly PHS Fall Garden Festival will inspire everyone with music, food, displays of the harvest, gardening workshops, and entertaining activities for kids, adults, and pets!   The festival will celebrate all aspects of the growing season on Saturday, Sept. 24, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. 

Linvilla Orchards Pumpkinland 2011

Linvilla Orchards Pumpkinland is taking center stage from September 10 to November 6 for all to enjoy the seasonal events when there are leaves crunching under your feet. Don't miss the Autumn Moon hayrides, bonfires, apple picking and live music.  Kids will also love the Jack-o-Lantern exhibit, face painting, pony rides, straw bale and cornfield mazes and Apple slingshot. When your stomach starts growling, indulge in all your favorite fall foods, including apple cider donuts, candy apples, pies and homemade fudge or have lunch at the Linvilla Grill.

Learn How to Be Cool About Food Allergies

Did you know recent studies have shown that one in 12 children have a food allergy and of those affected, 39 percent have a history of severe reaction and 30 percent are allergic to multiple foods? To educate the community about this growing issue, the Kids With Food Allergies Foundation (KFA) will host the 3rd annual Strides for Safe Kids Expo and Fundraiser on Sunday, September 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Plymouth Meeting Mall. 

Pirate Adventure Days

Starting this Labor Day Weekend, the Delaware Children's Museum in Wilmington hosts Pirate Adventure Days.  This will feature hands-on programs that focus on the adventure and lore of buccaneers, including crafts, activities and much more.
