One of the most enduring rivalries in football history, the 111th Army/Navy Game, heats up with a spirited pep rally at the National Constitution Center on Saturday, December 11, 2010, beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Visitors can then watch the game live at 2:30 p.m. on television screens throughout the museum.  Guests also will have access to the Center’s acclaimed Art of the American Soldier exhibition, an additional opportunity to recognize our country’s servicemen and women.

On Saturday, the celebration is free with museum admission.  The festivities continue on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with FREE admission to the museum, courtesy of Bank of America.  The museum will open early on Sunday, at 9:30 a.m.
Throughout the weekend, children and their families can get into the game-day spirit by creating special crafts and joining in a program that explores the history of this celebrated game and the ongoing rivalry between Army and Navy.  Visitors also can participate in a military protocol workshop to learn when and how to salute, how to properly wear a uniform, and how to address an officer.

On Saturday, December 11, admission to Art of the American Soldier is FREE with regular museum admission of $12 for adults, $11 for seniors ages 65 and over, and $8 for children ages 4-12.  Veterans and military families will receive $2 off admission.  Active military personnel, career military retirees, and children ages 3 and under are free.  Group rates are also available.  (A reminder: admission is free on Sunday, December 12, courtesy of Bank of America)
The National Constitution Center is located at 525 Arch St. on Philadelphia’s Independence Mall. For ticket information, call 215.409.6700 or visit www.constitutioncenter.org.
