Entries will be accepted until 4:30 pm on Friday, December 3. Judging will take place on December 6 between 5-7 pm. Winners will be announced on December 8 at the Holiday Lights Celebration from 6:30-8:30 pm which will be held at the Montgomery Township Building. http://www.montgomerytwp.org

 

The Festival of Lights:  Media, PA

Tree lighting December 4 at 5:30PM (Trees lit until January 2, 2011)
Rose Tree Park sparkles during the holiday season with the annual Festival of Lights. Dozens of decorated lit trees and festive displays draw visitors back each year to stroll the glimmering walkways and grounds, linger in the festive atmosphere, and pay a visit to childhood figures such as Charlie Brown & the Peanuts Gang and Santa & his Reindeer. The Festival of Lights opens in early December with a tree lighting ceremony featuring choral performers and the arrival of Santa Claus. Upper Perk Hometown Christmas:  Pennsburg, PA

Please join us again, this year, for the Upper Perk Hometown Christmas! The Hometown Christmas is actually of a number of events going on across the valley with some highlights being Santa Land and the Hometown Christmas Parade. Holiday Tree Lighting in the Center of the Square:  Philadelphia, PA
Tuesday, November 30, 2010 5 - 6 PM

Tree Lighting:  Hatboro, PA
December 3 from 6-9PM While you are in downtown Hatboro join the festivities at the Union Library's Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Residents and visitors alike are welcome to gather at 7 p.m. to watch while the boroughs holiday tree is illuminated with color and light. A performance by the Hatboro Horsham High School Madrigal singers along with community caroling will fill the air with the familiar sounds of the holidays. http://www.hatboro-pa.com

Glenside Winterfest:  Glenside, PA
December 3- Santa will ring in the holidays on a shiny, red fire truck at WinterFest at 6:30PM on Friday, December 3 on Wesley Plaza off Easton Road in Downtown Glenside. Festivities, which will run from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., will include seasonal carolers, bell ringers and warm wintertime refreshments.  Youngsters can even have their pictures taken with Santa, if they provide the camera.  In addition, Downtown Glenside businesses will feature in-store specials and extended hours for great holiday shopping as part of the monthly First Friday event.  Free parking begins at 5PM. http://www.cheltenhamtownship.org/mainstreet/WinterFest.htm
