Longwood’s Garden Railway Display:  Kennett Square, PA
Now thru January 9, 2011... Imaginations embark on a journey through a marvelous landscape and fanciful miniature railway in the Idea Garden.  This year's display features Thomas the Train along with new bridges and new water features. www.longwoodgardens.org


Train Week at Avon Grove Library:  West Grove, PA

Throughout the Fall, look for events commemorating the 150th Anniversary the Railroad through Southern Chester County, AND November 29 to December 3rd is Train Week for kids – train themed Storytimes, the movie “The Polar Express” and a special surprise for patrons of all ages on Friday, December 3. 610-869-2004

The Old Mauch Chunk Model Train Display:  Jim Thorpe, PA                        TheTrain Display Show offers a brief history into the world of model trains and the beginnings of our  wonderful exhibit which is owned and operated by the Heery family.
Located on the second floor of the Hooven Mercantile Building
next to the Railroad Station in downtown Jim Thorpe, PA.

Join Frosty the Snowman, Santa & the Elves as they bring in the season at the WK&S! Free gifts for the children as Santa walks through the train. Adults $12 ~ Children (ages 3-11)$7 ~ Children ages 2 and under $2. Santa's Express on the West Chester Railroad:  West Chester, PA

All aboard Santa's Express! Join Santa for a 90 minute journey on our heated decorated train through the Chester Creek Valley. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be greeting everyone at Market Street Station and then going along for the ride to Glen Mills. Once at Glen Mills passengers can disembark and explore the historic station. West Chester Railroad is hosting its first Christmas Tree train this holiday season! For the first time, we have partnered with Wiggins Tree Farm in West Chester, PA. The train will board at the intersection of Adams St. and Nields St. There is a gravel parking lot at the intersection.
