Discovery Museum Cherry Hill, NJ:  Hurray for Hanukkah!

December 5:  Favorite former Haddonfield-area teacher Rosie Hymerling returns to the Garden State Discovery Museum on Sunday, December 5 to work some holiday magic. Participants will listen to Hanukkah stories, create holiday snacks and enjoy hands-on Hanukkah crafts. Then, they’ll top off the afternoon with a sing-along with Janet Sclaroff. The Discovery Museum, 2040 Springdale Road in Cherry Hill, N.J., will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission of $10.95 for 12 months and older; $9.95 for seniors provides access to all the interactive exhibits plus Hurray for Hanukkah activities. About the Chopped Liver River Band - The Chopped Liver River Band plays a variety of Jewish music which includes Klezmer music, Yiddish songs, Jewish show tunes, big band, light jazz and comedy.  Their sound is breath-taking with exhilarating rhythms that propel you onto the dance floor, and simple, sincere melodies that touch your heart.  Klezmer is alive, back and kicking. Dancing in the aisles is permitted. The Chopped Liver River Band is affiliated with Congregation Shaarai Shomayim, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
