Too Much Candy?

Are you experiencing Halloween candy overload right now? If you can convince the kids to participate, there are a few great candy buy-back programs!

Many area dentists are collecting candy in exchange for money or non-food treats.  They then send the candy overseas to the troops!  Enter your zip code to search for a participating dentist near you:

Bounce U in Horsham and Langhorne are sponsoring an event through Saturday, November 5. Kids bring two pounds of their unwanted Halloween candy and receive a free bounce pass, valid Nov 5 - January 31.  It is good for one bounce pass per child and candy must be from the Halloween basket (they will not accept unopened bags of candy).  They are sending the candy overseas to the troops!

Help Tip the Scales at North Wales Library:

Beginning November 1st, counter space in North Wales Area Library will be dedicated to displaying a Halloween-themed scale. Library patrons are encouraged to bring their child’s Halloween candy into the Library between November 1st and November 14th. Candy will be weighed, every time we receive 1 pound of candy and ‘Tip the Scales,’ Dr. Klein and his wife, Sharon, will donate $10.00 toward the library.
Children can take pride knowing their candy has been converted into real money which goes to help our new Library. Additionally, healthy alternatives like art and school supplies, pencils and stickers will be exchanged for their Trick-or-Treat treasures.
